Full Job Description

We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent, basis at our Abercrombie and Fitch site in Rushden, Northants. You will ensure that our site is 100% safety compliant by leading the delivery of the site safety strategy and providing QHSE support and guidance to the Operational teams.

In this role you will be working Monday to Friday business hours, however there will be a level of flexibility required due to the nature of the role.,

  • Develop and lead the site's health and safety strategy, consistently identifying opportunities and ideas for improvement

  • Monitor on-site health & safety through effective internal audits, risk assessments and regular training

  • Advise on hazard and risk management, and ensure an improvement plan is created

  • Facilitate the reporting and investigation of all near misses, accidents, etc and ensure that root causes are identified, and recommendations made are delivered to prevent recurrence and improve controls

    Proven health and safety management experience in a warehousing operation

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)

  • Exposure to accident investigation, including full analysis and reporting

  • The ability and confidence to influence senior stakeholders on all aspects of health and safety

    You will receive a salary of up to £41,600 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
