Qualified Swimming Teacher (SEND) - Term Time Only

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching individuals of all ages and skill levels how to swim and improve their swimming techniques. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while sharing your passion for swimming., Educate and instruct individuals on proper swimming techniques and water safety
- Develop lesson plans and tailor instruction to meet the needs of each student
- Provide demonstrations and hands-on guidance to help students improve their swimming skills
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during lessons
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns

Previous experience in swim instruction or sports coaching is preferred
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with individuals of all ages, including children and adults
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check,

• Are you able to swim at least 50m to a reasonable standard?


• Can you tread water for at least 1 minute?


• Are you able to swim to depths of at least 2m?


Experience:

• swimming instructor: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
