Quality Assurance Supervisor

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established nuts and snacks manufacturing site in Liverpool on a permanent full-time Basis. The role encompasses managing a small team of QA technicians and aspects of food quality, safety and legality within the site contributing to ensuring that all products made by our company are fit for purpose, safe and as specified to meet customer, company and legal requirements

This is an ideal step up role for a Quality Assurance technician with experience of working in a FMCG environment.

What you will be doing

As part of the Technical department, you will manage the factory QA team to ensure effective and consistent monitoring of products in manufacture and also raw materials. Maintaining all documentations related to the quality management system.

In the job you'll be tasked with the following:

Ensure that the procedures and processes of the Quality Management System are adhered to.

Identify opportunities and implement improvements to reduce quality issues and risks to product

Assist in management and development of site Quality Management system, including undertaking internal audits

Ensure customer technical requirements are met in full across the site

Investigate customer complaints, identifying root cause and corrective action

A track record working in an FMCG setting, ideally in food manufacturing or QA. Key skills we are looking for include:

knowledge of HACCP, BRC and Quality Management systems within the food industry.

Ability to communicate well, have good people-management and customer service skills.

Ability to establish plans, determine priorities and someone who is proactive and able to show attention to detail,

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
