Full Job Description

The Radiology Services project manager (RSPM) will mainly focus on client-facing projects, although the RSPM may also be involved in, or project manage, other projects in the organisation. The RSPM reports to the Head of Project Management Office.

The RSPM will support the Heads of Business Units and Business Development Managers (sponsors) with project management of key client projects. These projects can involve the implementation of new clients/services and service improvements, such as innovative/technical solutions, applications, or processes. The RSPM will need to liaise with clients from any country in which TMC is operating - currently in UK, Sweden and Denmark.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Ensure the projects are delivered within the applicable scope, timeline, and budget.

  • Managing the relationship and communication with the clients and all stakeholders, ensuring the projects are delivered to their satisfaction.

  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarise the progress of projects.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, using the TMC project management tools.

  • Monitor and report progress of projects to stakeholders and managers.

  • Manage multiple implementations concurrently.

  • Manage risks, issues, and scope changes effectively.

  • Ensure project deliverables are signed off by both client and TMC stakeholders.

  • Follow TMC Project Management guidelines and procedures.

    Experience - Experience in client-facing project management in the industry, experience in liaising with hospital management, IT departments, and radiology department staff. Ideally experience with working in NHS. Strong project management skills and knowledge of Agile project management methodology. Background from the industry, and experience working in hospital environments and with hospital applications/systems.

  • Language Skills - You are fluent in English, both written and verbal. Swedish and Danish are nice to have.
    Educational Background - Bachelor University Degree is an advantage.
    MS Office - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with project management software tools.
