Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused receptionist to join our team ahead of our opening. You will serve as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Provide information about hotel and restaurant facilities, services, and promotions.

Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.

Manage guest reservations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any immediate issues.

Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experience.

Assist with concierge services, such as arranging transportation and making restaurant reservations.

Maintain a clean and organised reception area.

Handle cash and credit card transactions, following established procedures.

Provide administrative support, such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and managing correspondence.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a boutique hotel or high-end restaurant.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient in computer systems.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Shifts are a combination of 7-3pm or 3-11pm over a 7 day week, with 2 days off per week.

Professional appearance and demeanour.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within our organisation. A full UK driving license and your own transport is required due to our location.
