Full Job Description

Join us as a Quality Director in our Logistics Quality team. This role is pivotal in providing Quality Assurance leadership for the regional logistics QA Team, Quality Management system/processes, and Logistics Service Providers in the region. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain Quality, you will be a member of the GSC Q leadership team and the Extended EQ Leadership Team. Your accountabilities will include the establishment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, oversight of quality performance, and issue handling., As a Quality Director, you will ensure that roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines are clearly defined throughout the organization. You will lead and develop a team of Regional Operations QA staff members, ensuring sufficiently trained resources with adequate product and process knowledge for execution of GMP/GDP obligations. You will also ensure the continuing suitability and effectiveness of the quality management system, product quality, and GMP/GDP compliance through participation in management reviews and advocating continual improvement.

  • Holds a minimum of Degree level in Pure or Applied Science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering) or other relevant scientific field and experience.

  • A background in the pharmaceutical / bio-pharmaceutical industry, including having experience in Quality and GMP associated with the manufacture/distribution of Drug Product or Drug Substance.

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the principles and concepts of GMP, quality and compliance management, quality risk management and performance evaluation and control.

  • Global line management experience

  • Significant experience of working with global external suppliers

  • Ability to operate highly independently and remotely from line management


  • Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • Business, financial and supply chain understanding/awareness

  • SHE management knowledge

  • Lean principles, understanding, experience and practitioner

  • Qualified/Responsible Person
