Full Job Description

We are looking for a real people person to join our amazing sales team. You'll have the most unique sales job in the world - working in the exciting events industry and supporting the UK's biggest sport and music events.

Event Support Team is a leading events company managing the planning and execution of events ranging from sports matches to music festivals. We specialise in car park and traffic management and have worked at prestigious events such as the Rugby World Cup, Olympics, and Champions League Final as well as supporting over 20 stadiums nationwide.

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business and supporting the sales team in achieving their objectives. You will be busy spending your time finding schools/businesses with unused land near to big events. You'll then be building a relationship of trust so that we can then use the land for event car parking.

Some of your other responsibilities will include:

  • Checking prices and contracts are up to date

  • Reporting monthly sales results to the Sales Director

  • Management of sales pipeline

  • Supporting the sales force with general operations to help reach the team's objectives

  • Taking phone calls from customers

  • Communicating important feedback from customers internally

  • Dealing with and responding to high volumes of emails

  • New business hunting

  • Achieving and exceeding set targets

  • Ability to prioritise your workload

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Well-versed in IT skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite

  • An administrative or sales background is preferable (but not essential)

  • A confident and determined approach

  • A positive can do attitude

  • The ability to work of your own initiative

  • Be a team player, Field sales: 1 year (preferred)

    In return, we offer a competitive starting salary from £24,000.00 per year, depending on experience, a structured training programme, as well as a bonus and commission structure after a 6-month training/qualifying period.
