Full Job Description

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a full time post to support the Procurement team in the sourcing of medicines for the Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital. The post holder will also assist with administrative duties within the department and may be required to work at different sites within the Trust., Duties will include:
+ Creating purchase orders for medicines and non-medicinal products.
+ Actively support and participate in stock management.
+ Chase outstanding orders with suppliers investigating MCS issues
+ Supporting the Pharmacy Administrator
+ To support the Unlicensed Technician with day to day processes
+ To assist with Drug Alerts
+ Support Distribution when needed
+ Assist with invoices when needed
+ Support dispensary when needed

The post holder must be self-motivated and confident and an excellent communicator. Excellent IT skills will be required to ensure all processes are carried out accurately and efficiently
