A key part of this ambition is the growth of its Business Intelligence Consulting team which has created an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and ambitious Senior Consultant who is passionate about developing automation solutions for customers using Microsoft Power Automate cloud.

You'll be a key member of the team delivering customer funded consultancy and projects focussed on automation of HR, People and Payroll processes. The consultancy work ranges from the development of both small and enterprise-scale automation flows, interaction with internal and external systems, event driven notifications and the build of fully-featured Power Platform solutions.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work on many client deliveries, partnering with customers throughout the full life cycle of a project from initial discovery sessions, scoping workshops, writing specifications, development, through to use acceptance testing and handover. You will be a passionate advocate for business intelligence automation, and regularly support Sales, Commercial and Customer Success Managers in pre-sales discussions to promote the Business Intelligence practice.

Key success measures for the role will include building positive relationships with customers, delivering quality work on time and on budget, achieving excellent NPS feedback and achieving chargeability targets. You'll be a strong communicator and able to engage audiences up to C-suite, using your industry experience to advise, consult and deliver solutions which provide value to the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, scope and quote projects, advising on good practice and recommended solutions

  • Leadership to deliver projects and solutions to time, cost and quality targets

  • Act as a coach or mentor to other consultants to help develop their skills and career development paths, including performance management of individuals and managing against team KPIs and objectives (i.e., engagement, chargeability, recruitment, lead times etc)

  • Take ownership of key targets and SLAs proactively managing your own performance and mitigating any risks of underperformance

  • Proactively contribute to the growth of the Business Intelligence practice through supporting Commercial, Sales and Customer Success Managers to promote the range and value of ZCS solutions

  • Drive continuous improvement of Customer Experience, taking a proactive approach to reviewing and acting on customer feedback

    4+ years of experience in large-scale Microsoft Power Automate development and implementation.

  • Deep technical expertise in REST APIs and flows, Azure API Management (APIM), and in integrating disparate systems and data sources; both on-premise and cloud-based.

  • Comfortable participating and contributing to pre-sales engagements and providing demos, proof-of-concepts and idea generation to garner interest and secure business.

  • Superb interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor your communication to colleagues and customers regardless of their technical understanding.

  • Proven consultancy experience working with clients to deliver Microsoft-based solutions.

  • Proven experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery.

  • Power Platform Certifications: PL-600 (desirable), PL-500, PL-200, and/or significant, proven professional experience with Power Automate cloud.

  • Desirable: experience with Power Platform administration (Centre of Excellence, environments, users, licensing etc).


  • Desirable, but not essential:
  • Data and analytics experience including dashboard development using Power BI.

  • Existing knowledge of ResourceLink's tables and data structures is desirable but not essential, specifically around base tables (HR, Payroll and Pensions), Leave Management, PDR, Time and Attendance, MyView, Expenses.
