Senior Legacy Officer

As one of our Senior Legacy Officers, you will be responsible for managing a wide-ranging legacy case-load (including contentious matters), ensuring that the wishes of the legator are carried out so that legacy income is received in full. This will include:

• Handling complex legacy cases with care and professionalism to maximise income and protect the RNLI's reputation.


• Dealing with family members, Executors, banks, Solicitors and other professionals in an efficient, decent and sensitive manner.


• Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements


• Working proactively and accurately to deadlines.
  
  To become our Senior Legacy Officer, you will need to demonstrate:


• Experience of working with charity legacies and/or familiarity with the law relating to Wills, Probate and trusts.


• A Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration or equivalent qualification/level of experience.


• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken with a high level of attention to detail.
