Senior Project Manager

We are currently recruiting for an exciting new role to join our Delivery team. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for day to day management of a selection of client WordPress websites and sometimes complex web-app based projects, ensuring their success and helping coordinate delivery across a multi-functional team.

We are looking for someone who is well organised, meticulous, passionate about the digital world and shares our company values to take on this senior role in our Project Delivery team.

This role will report to the Head of Delivery and work closely with our wider delivery, development, design and product teams., Client & project coordination

• Work in partnership with Hiyield clients to ensure the successful management and delivery of projects


• Employ core project management methodology to manage the delivery of WordPress websites and Product based web applications


• Coordinate the internal team, ensuring projects are delivered to schedule and within scope and budget.


• Use Project Management software to set up and monitor projects, reporting to the Head of Delivery


• Be an experienced voice and head within the project management team, helping guide the team and make positive contributions


• Support and coach junior staff implementing necessary changes in the existing process to ensure projects run smoothly


• Supporting the project teams to identify project risks, manage and elevate the risks to the relevant project lead


Delivery team coordination

• Facilitate communication between the functional delivery teams at Hiyield


• Triage support requests, creating and assigning tasks
  
  Strong communication skills with excellent written and spoken English language


• Experience of managing multiple simultaneous digital projects in an agency environment


• Experience of agile project management


• Experience of managing clients and multiple stakeholders


• Strong leadership and team management skills, able to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve project goals


• Able to effectively prioritise tasks with ability to work under time pressure and deadlines


• Proactively identify and tackle challenges, demonstrating the ability to engage with complex issues and employ strategic decision-making frameworks to develop effective solutions.


• Highly organised with good attention to detail and exceptional administrative skills


• Highly competent user of digital systems and web applications. Our current stack includes github, Click Up, Slack, Trello and HubSpot


• Ability to effectively prioritise tasks

  Hiyield is a climate conscious digital product studio - we create bespoke websites and apps, designed with sustainability at their core. We have a head office based in Truro Cornwall and have recently become a B Corp; the majority of our clients are purpose led.
  
  Salary: £30-£38k depending on experience
