Full Job Description

Join us as a Site Planning Manager at our dynamic new site in Harwell, UK. In this vital role, you'll report directly to the Site Supply Chain Director, managing the intricacies of our supply chain planning to optimize the production and distribution of groundbreaking mRNA products. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the planning strategies from the ground up as we enhance our capabilities in this critical area.

Here's What You'll Do:Your key responsibilities will be:
Establishing and implementing best practices for site planning operations ahead of commercial supply.

Leading and facilitating key planning discussions with stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis.

Ensuring that global supply chain standards are adeptly integrated within your competence scope.

Collaborating effectively with the Global Supply Chain Planning team to refine and implement detailed site-specific planning strategies.

Your responsibilities will also include:
Managing short-term production, release, and supply plans to pinpoint and address deviations promptly.

Working closely with warehouse operations and site supply chain leadership to prioritize supplies effectively.

Overseeing site capacity for drug substances over tactical horizons to optimize based on S&OP process requirements.

Supporting the continuous improvement of Site Supply Chain processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

The key Moderna Mindsets you'll need to succeed in the role:
We pursue options in parallel: Your role will involve exploring various planning options simultaneously to determine the most effective strategies.

BS/BA in Supply Chain, Science or Economics/Finance with 10 years' experience.

8+ years' experience as a Production Planner within Biotech, Pharma or other related batch production manufacturing environments. DS manufacturing Site experience strongly preferred.5+ years' experience with SAP MPS and MRP

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table :
APICS/ASCM CPIM and CSCP accreditations preferred.

Working knowledge of site supply chain processes including demand management, S&OP, production planning, capacity planning, material planning and procurement, order fulfilment, master data and life-cycle management.

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, at all levels, in a complex environment with matrix organization.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across boundaries (functional and cultural) and form effective working relationships with colleagues.

Customer and business focused - determined to deliver successful outcomes in a cost-effective way.

Demonstrated change management and process management experience is preferred: demonstrated usage of data to drive process improvements.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
