Full Job Description

In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day:

  • Design & Implement Strategy: Develop a scalable, centralized social listening strategy and operating model for Primark.

  • Monitor & Evaluate: Track brand mentions, competitor sentiment, trends in fashion/home/beauty, community engagement, viral moments, and licensed product popularity.

  • Tool Evaluation: Advise on and assess industry tools for social platform measurement (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X).

  • Optimize Solutions: Create quick wins with current solutions while developing long-term plans; link social data to other intelligence sources.

  • Project Management: Plan and manage resources, risks, budgets, and vendor relationships for the social listening strategy.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leaders to understand and meet their social listening needs; provide training on best practices.

  • Collaboration: Work with the Procurement team to design and procure the optimal suite of social listening tools.

    5+ years in social listening with deep industry knowledge and service provider expertise.

  • Strong network with social listening professionals in agencies and client-side.

  • Experience designing and implementing client-side social listening programs.

  • Proficient with social listening tools, able to evaluate their efficacy.

  • Skilled in strategic planning, data interpretation, and avoiding data misinterpretation.

  • Proven track record in project management and handling cross-functional projects.

  • Excellent advisory, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
