Full Job Description

  • Perform analysis and provide recommendations for clients within the Space/Defence sector.

  • Drive the design and development of Space programmes.

  • Define and establish organisation capability for the Space industry.

  • Take responsibility for the delivery and success of the Space Account, ensuring performance and programme success.

  • Be responsible for a number of live engagements, as well as converting pipeline offerings.

  • Enable programmes to adopt latest technology and operating models for better control and efficient delivery.

  • Manage progress reporting, risk management and financial controls in relation to the programme or workstream.

  • Drive the growth of client relationships, identifying new opportunities within both existing and new clients within Space and Defence.

  • Lead public sector bid processes and cycles.

  • Manage teams of 10+ and ensure their performance.

    You will need to have experience leading teams, ensuring delivery, account management and business development.


  • You must have experience within both the Space and Defence industry to be considered for this role.

    They are happy for you to be based anywhere in the UK, however the main locations for the work are London and Bristol. You will be required to travel to sites, and sometimes that could be up to 4 days per week).,
  • An understanding of the major issues faced in delivering Space technology within UK Defence.

  • An interest in innovative solutions and strategies being undertaken by governments.

  • A strong understand of how government organisations operate and the ability to advise on operating model design where appropriate.

  • Experience of designing and delivering service design or transformation solutions into UK Defence.

  • Excellent customer facing experience and excellent contacts within UK Space and Defence.

  • Demonstrable experience leading delivery teams of 10+.

  • Excellent account management and business development experience.

  • Experience responding to bids and converting pipelines sales.
