Specification Technologist

As a Specification Technologist, you will be responsible for creating specifications for a range of customers, reviewing and approving artwork as well as ensuring deadlines are met with consistent accuracy. Working within a team you will build strong working relationships across our customer and colleague base.,

• Complete finished product specifications and approve artwork in accordance with critical paths to facilitate successful product launches


• Work alongside Ingredients and Packaging Specifications Technologist to approve raw material and packaging specifications


• Work closely with NPD to integrate with the NPD launch process to ensure successful product launches

We are looking for a highly competent and motivated Specification Technologist to join our technical department., Food related Further Education qualification


• Experience of writing food specifications with knowledge of major retailers' online specification systems and critical paths


• Experience of retailer artwork approval systems and in-depth knowledge of the Food Information for Consumers Regulation


• Excellent attention to detail whilst being able to organise workload to achieve key deadlines.


• Self-motivated


• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels


• Food related HND - Desirable


• Food labelling qualification- Desirable
