Street Cleansing Operative

+ To complete a daily litter bin round, using a caged tipper vehicle, ensuring all bins listed for that day are cleansed and areas around the bins are clean & tidy.
+ Maintain the public toilets in a clean & attractive condition reporting any disrepair or defects promptly.
+ Provide high quality street cleaning services across the district including sweeping, litter picking, weed removal, collection of fly tipping & graffiti removal.
+ Support the Clean & Green Service during severe weather such as gritting in icy conditions, snow clearance and providing flood provisions where necessary.

You will be required to have a full driving licence. It is essential that you have good customer service skills and knowledge of Health & Safety. It is desirable but not essential that you have 3 years relevant experience and/or an NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject., Candidates must possess the necessary 'right to work in the UK' authorisation. We are unable to provide sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa as we do not possess a visa sponsorship licence.
