Part Time 0.8 FTE

Maternity Cover

Required for September 2024

We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join an experienced and highly successful Science team. The post would suit an ECT as well as a more experienced candidate.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Qualified teacher status

  • Degree or equivalent

  • Successful teaching experience of all 3 Science disciplines across Key Stage 3 and 4 and full ability range


  • The Carlton Academy is a 'good' and over-subscribed 11-18 academy and part of the Redhill Academy Trust.

    The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities and a chance to work alongside colleagues from other high-performing schools in the region. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and the National Professional Qualifications for teachers.
