Full Job Description

  • Supporting their learning and social needs

  • Ensuring that all pupils have an opportunity to reach their potential, Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard:

  • Functional Skills in maths and English if required

  • 4 Additional day courses with HOET

  • All training to be delivered on site during working hours.

    St John the Baptist School is a Church of England School founded in 1881, located in the Clarendon Park area of Leicester. Although we do not have a fixed catchment area, we aim to provide a primary education within a distinctive Christian context which seeks to serve all members of the school community. Currently over 530 children attend, aged between 4 and 11. As a school, we are committed to enabling all children to achieve their full potential in all areas of their lives. We believe in the unique, individual worth of every child and that all members of our learning community have the right to excellent standards in all areas of the school's life.
