Full Job Description

OTC Derivatives Operations supports a global and diverse client base. Primary functions performed: affirmation, settlement, client money daily segregation, credit event management, client valuations, regulatory reporting, and tax reporting. We facilitate transaction execution via a 'best in class' systematic control framework, providing integration between risk systems (Athena, GPS, Kapital, Pyramid) and vendor platforms (DTCC / TIW / Markitwire / Thunderhead).

As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst in the Derivatives Operations Team, you will be responsible for building relationships and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for the affirmation and execution of electronic and paper Derivative confirmations. You will analyze data and work on process improvement.,

  • Maintains a portfolio of clients and reduce aged outstanding's confirmation breaks

  • Works on a daily basis to internal and external monthly metrics

  • Builds and sustains, strong working relationships with internal lines of business within Commodities and Middle/Front office groups

  • Ensures any issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner

  • Understands regulatory requirements and controls in place

  • Participates in the implementation of strategic initiatives

  • Identifies process improvements and efficiency opportunities in daily workflow

  • Proactively identifies any recurring issues and escalates accordingly

  • Takes ownership and resolves all exceptions and queries relating to Derivative trades

  • Adapts to process and system changes

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to deliver high level of customer service to both internal and external clients

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise and react to change quickly and positively

  • Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and work as part of a team in a pressurised environment

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a worldwide client base

  • Flexible approach to working hours
