Transport Manager

Maxims are looking to appoint an experienced Transport Manager to oversee a key phase in the company's development, overseeing an expanded transport operation, to optimise process, manage a VMU, fleet and maintenance and oversee compliance.,

• Commercially aware - set and manage budgets and deliver cost effective outcomes and increase productivity.


• Fleet experience - specifying and managing fleet, including management of service agents and cost control.


• Driver management - including coordinating recruitment, organising and delivery of training and compliance and dealing with any employee relations.


• Compliance - strong understanding of current and future regulatory requirements.


• IT and Process Development - assist in integrating and maximising the utilisation of a new TMS and process enhancement.


• Contribute to overall strategy as part of the Maxim Senior Management Team.
  
  Proven experience in transport management or a similar leadership role, with a track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.


• Strong understanding of fleet management regulations and best practices.


• Commercial acumen as you will be responsible for ensuring the transport operation is optimised and profitable and.


• Strong IT skills, including TMS deployment and KPI development


• CPC National or International
