Full Job Description

The role of Trustee is vital to maintain the integrity of the hospice and hold the executive team accountable for ensuring the sustainability of the organisation. Trustees are responsible for charity governance and identified as non-executive directors.

Each Trustee is expected to annually attend 4 Board meetings and participate/lead a sub-committee of the Board, which will have delegated authority to make decisions in specific subject areas, e.g. Clinical, finance, fundraising, trading and people., Teesside Hospice is fully committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and any offer of Trustee role will be subject to the appropriate checks, including from the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS).
