Aquilas are delighted to be supporting Spinal Research in their search for a Trusts & High Value Fundraising Manager., We are looking for an ambitious fundraiser to join our small, dynamic team. We're a passionate bunch, all working hard to achieve Spinal Research's vision of curing paralysis. Our Trusts programme is established, but has room to grow, and we also have ambitions to grow our Philanthropy and Corporate fundraising.,

  • Responsibility for all income from Trusts and Foundations

  • To develop and tailor compelling funding proposals and reports

  • Writing and submitting high-quality applications for funding to major Trusts and Foundations

  • Writing and submitting reports to Trusts and Foundations in line with donors monitoring and evaluation requirements

  • Cultivating and sustaining relationships with Trusts and Foundations through appropriate stewardship activities

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to identify new Trusts and Foundations opportunities and to develop funding plans to target these sources

  • Finding creative ways to fund new activities

  • Maintaining a rolling cycle of applications to current and new Trusts, in a timely and appropriate way, ensuring all Trusts' specific needs and deadlines are met

    You will have experience of working in a fast-paced fundraising team, as a Trusts & Foundations or Philanthropy Manager.   • Experience of writing grant applications

  • Experience of managing funder relationships, including timely reporting and stewarship

  • Experience in grant writing, management, reporting and prospect research
