Warehouse Assistant

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our fast-paced team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to customers and other distribution hubs


• Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods, verifying accuracy of deliveries and reporting discrepancies


• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner (training will be provided if needed)


• Maintain accurate records of inventory, ensuring stock levels are up-to-date and replenished as necessary


• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts


• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures


• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and contribute to a positive work environment
  
  Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not essential


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions


• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs/23 kg) regularly


• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)


• Excellent time management and organisational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Good communication skills and a positive attitude


• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required


• Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory (training will be provided if needed)
